Royston Photographic Society was formed in 1987. Today it is thriving and has approximately 30 members and, of course we always welcome anyone who has yet to take the plunge as well as those with an established interest and who wish to learn more about photography.
The Society’s Aims
- Provide a forum for amateur photographers of all abilities to share their work and interests.
- To promote photography as an enjoyable interest and expression of ideas, both within the membership of the society and the broader community.
- To help develop the skills and ability of its members.
- To hold competitions, both within the society and against others.
- Have an enjoyable social life.
How to find us
The society is based at Icknield Walk School, Poplar Close, Royston, Herts. SG8 7EZ. The meetings are held each Thursday at 7.30 for a 7.45 start.
Some evenings are practical nights and, as this may involve trips away from the school, it’s best to consult our Diary page for up to date information each week.
Getting in touch
Useful contact information is available via the Contacts / Links page. Please feel free to use these should you wish to find out more about the society or if you are interested in becoming a member.
